Cannibal - The Musical
Cannibal! the Musical is set to debut in London's West End at the Leicester Square theatre from the 27th of July until the 11th of September 2010. Adapted from Trey Parker's film, Cannibal! the Musical will enthral audiences with its unique combination of tunes, strange appetites and humour in a hilarious musical cannibal cowboy comedy the likes of which has never been seen before.
It's based on the true story of Alfred Packer, the only convicted cannibal in America. At his trial, he tells the story of his journey through the Colorado Territory in 1873 as the leader of a group of hapless people searching for gold. When the group loses its way and falls prey to starvation, its members have some tough decisions to make. It's a twisted tale of horse love, Cyclops and cowboys set to music, which is frightening, funny and too fabulously fantastic to be missed.
